Big Team, the charity helmed by the organisers of Love Saves the Day, has announced a new mentorship scheme designed to support emerging artists.
Next Level is aimed at young singers, rappers and MCs aged 18-25 looking to advance their careers. The artist development initiative will feature a week of workshops at Pirate Studios. Mentors involved in the programme include Eva Lazarus, Dread M.C. and FIYAHDRED, as well as Sam Interface, N.Y.T.A, and Res One.
Successful applicants on the programme will also participate in a workshop with Crack Magazine, focusing on developing music media understanding, alongside a guest radio spot on Bristol radio station SWU.FM. There will also be potential to perform a live set at Love Saves The Day 2022.
The deadline for Next Level applications is 28 March. Head to Big Team’s website to apply and read further information.
