The London venue will host two parties with all proceeds being donated to charities in aid of Ukraine.
The events will take place on two consecutive Thursdays, on 10 and 13 March. The first night (10 March) will see Shanti Celeste, who has also helped to organise these events, go back-to-back with Moxie. Dr Banana and Jossy Mitsu will also play alongside The Pickle Factory resident DJs Hamish & Toby.
The second event on 13 March will feature Nicolas Lutz, Jane Fitz with Kyiv DJ Carl H, and Toi Toi Musik’s Junki Inoue.
Speaking on the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, The Pickle Factory shared: “It’s broken our heart to see what’s happening in Ukraine. We have a deep affinity for Ukraine, it’s lovely & welcoming people, and truly special party scene, one of our favourites in Europe. And we want to help in some way.”
“After consulting with friends in Ukraine,” The Pickle Factory explained, “we have decided to split the pot 50/50 between two charities which are doing vital work.” These charities include Phoenix Wings, who are working to supply the Ukrainian army with equipment such as first aid, vests and helmets. The second organisation is SOS Ukraina who are providing urgent humanitarian aid to Ukrainian people.
