The German festival has announced its second wave of artists.

Melt Festival returns to Ferropolis between 9-12 June. The upcoming edition has been two years in the making, with their previous 2021 event postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions. Newly-announced artists joining the bill include Koffee, Headie One, Ellen Allien, Yung Lean, Eartheater and Marcel Dettmann going back-to-back with DJ Stingray.

Elsewhere Drain Gang’s Bladee, Dua Saleh, Leon Vynehall, the xx’s Romy and Bbymutha are set to perform. The festival has confirmed over 200 acts, including the likes of Coucou Chloe, Sega Bodega and Shygirl.

The line-up also features Little Simz – who stars in our current Top Boy cover story – Joy Orbison, and PinkPantheress, plus PC Music artists A. G. Cook, Hannah Diamond, Caroline Polachek and Danny L Harle.

The 2022 edition will feature seven new stages at the event. This includes a Radio Stage that will focus on local German stations including HÖR Berlin and Refuge Worldwide.
