For its delayed tenth anniversary celebration, the festival returns to the Rhodope Mountains, in Bulgaria, from 2-5 June.
New artists confirmed for the 2022 edition of the festival include Ivan Smagghe, Bruce, Stella Zakri, Alabaster Deplume, Quest, Wayne Snow and Soccer 96. Other acts set to make their debut appearance at Meadows in the Mountains include Dr Banana, Gideon, Sugar Free, Cassy and London-based selector Qendresa.
This year, the community-focused festival will kick off with a full day of music on the Thursday, making it a four-day affair for the first time. The event is partnering with Total Refreshment Centre and DJs For Climate Action. There’s also a collaboration with Ecolibrium to work towards minimising the festival’s environmental impact.
Alongside the live music and DJ sets, the milestone event will include a series of eco-conscious workshops, wellness classes and art exhibitions.
