The multi-venue weekender is set to take place on 3 and 4 June as part of Leeds Jazz Festival.

Focused on platforming jazz, neo-soul, hip-hop and electronic artists, World Island has confirmed Nayana IZ, Grove, Charlotte Dos Santos and George Riley for this year’s event. Jungle revivalist Nia Archives and jazz duo Binker & Moses – who all feature in our latest issue – are also slated to headline.

Returning for its fourth edition, World Island will be held across Leeds venues Belgrave Music Hall and Headrow House. Other acts announced to play over the June bank holiday include neo-soul singer Eliza, Piri & Tommy, Conor Albert, EDBL and Brownswood Recordings’ jazz-funk outfit Secret Night Gang. There’s also DJ sets from Tash LC and Rebecca Vasmant.

The two-day event is hosted by Leeds-based promoters Super Friendz. Day tickets are priced at £22.50 and available here.
