The UK producer dropped the surprise release yesterday (20 October).
Streetlands is Burial’s second release this year, following on from January’s Antidawn. The new EP consists of three lengthy tracks, clocking in at just under 35 minutes in total. Featuring the titular track alongside Hospital Chapel and Exokind, the predominantly ambient release carries Burial’s signature production and is released via his longtime label home Hyperdub.
Streetlands is out now digitally and slated for vinyl release on 27 January. Listen to the new EP below.
Recently, The Bug revealed that another Flame collaboration with Burial is in the works. “Always a very pleasant surprise when Will Burial unexpectedly mails me fresh components with no warning for another Flame instalment/release,” he tweeted last week.
