Fever Ray has released the video for their new track, What They Call Us.
The track was co-produced and written by Olof Dreijer, who worked alongside Karin during their time in The Knife. While frequent collaborator Martin Falck is responsible for writing and direction.
What They Call Us is the first official release from Fever Ray since 2017’s critically acclaimed sophomore album Plunge, which came eight years after their debut self-titled project. Plunge saw Dreijer stepping out of their comfort zone and expanding their post-modern audio-visual world – tapping Paula Temple, Nídia, Deena Abdelwahed, and more to flesh out Dreijer’s queer, hyper-futuristic sound.
