Stormzy announces three day programme of events in London

The pop-up coincides with the release of his upcoming third album, This Is What I Mean

Stormzy has announced a three day pop-up in Regent Street with Amazon Music to celebrate the release of his upcoming album, This Is What I Mean releasing on 0207 Def Jam on November 25.

This is What I Mean House is set to feature live performances from Stormzy, alongside a listening room for fans to listen to the new album in full. Live talks with Stormzy and his collaborators are also set to take place at the pop-up, breaking down the process of creating the album.

Speaking about the pop-up, Laura Lukanz, Amazon Music’s Head of Music Industry, UK, Australia & New Zealand said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be working with Stormzy to celebrate the release of his new album in a really creative way and to be able to bring Stormzy even closer to his fans via this collaboration.”

“There is wealth of content for everyone to enjoy – from learning about the making of Stormzy’s album, to immersing yourself in the music in the one of a kind listening room.”

Last week, Stormzy released the video for single ‘Firebabe’, featuring vocals from Sampha, Jacob Collier and Debbie. Speaking about the collaborative aspect of the new single, Stormzy said: “Debbie, George [Moore] and I got in the studio together and it was the most beautiful moment. It was a session I’ll never forget, for the rest of my life. It was extremely special and everyone in the room understood that.”

This Is What I Mean House follows the announcement of new Amazon Original tracks set to release in the coming weeks, with a new orchestral release of ‘Firebabe’ featuring Jacob Collier and Debbie made available to stream.
