Praise A Lord Who Chews But Which Does Not Consume; (Or Simply, Hot Between Worlds) will be released via Warp Records.

Yves Tumor has shared the details for their new album and released new single Echolalia. The new track follows on from God Is a Circle, which Tumor released last November and is the opening track on the forthcoming record. The music video for Echolalia is directed by longtime collaborator Jordan Hemingway and pays homage to Gulliver’s Travels in Tumor’s suitably surreal and subversive style.

Praise A Lord Who Chews But Which Does Not Consume; (Or Simply, Hot Between Worlds) will be the follow-up to Tumor’s 2021 EP The Asymptotical World and 2020 album Heaven To A Tortured Mind. The new album is produced by Noah Goldstein – known for working with the likes of Frank Ocean, Rosalía, Rihanna and Bon Iver – and mixed by Alan Moulder, who has previously worked on releases for My Bloody Valentine and Nine Inch Nails.

In addition to the album announcement, Tumor has also shared details of a 2023 world tour. They’re set to debut a new live show at Coachella in April and then will tour across the US and Canada before heading to perform a handful of dates in Europe – predominantly at Primavera Sound in Barcelona, Madrid and Porto– in June. Later in the year, Tumor is set to return to continue their live shows in Europe and the UK in November.
