Boomtown share details of its 15th anniversary

The five day festival hints at what’s to come in 2023.

Boomtown has shared details of its 15th edition, themed as Chapter Two: The Twin Trail. 

The festival has shared a trailer for this years edition, encouraging attendees to follow the journey of The Twin Trail. The festival boasts a number of sound system parties, venues and more – encouraging festival-goers to explore Boomtown’s ‘city’.

Last years festival saw sets from Shy One, Nia Archives, Koffee, Four Tet and more. Boomtown’s ethos is spotlighting some of the best music from around the globe, with a mixture of some of the best up and coming artists alongside long-standing icons. The festival aim to provide a lineup that prioritises diversity and encourages festival goers to attend with an open mind, only revealing the lineup on the week of the festival.

Speaking about the upcoming edition, James Cousins, Head of Music at Boomtown said:

“We’re well known for kick starting and building artists careers. From Mercury Award nominees to your next favourite artist, you’ll come for the techno and leave with a new found love of post-punk. Jungle and punk are having a huge revival at the moment.”

“We’ll never be a festival with one stage to sit in front of all day. This city dives into musical culture, putting the most incredible music from across the world front and centre.”

He continued: “Music has always been a force to bring people together at festivals, and as an immersive festival we look for artists who know how to bring you into their world and make you an integral part of the experience. You don’t just watch the acts at Boomtown, you’re part of them!”
