The Barcelona festival has added over 40 more acts to its 30th anniversary edition, taking place 15-17 June.

Sónar has finalised the line-up for its flagship event this summer, taking place from 15-17 June in the Spanish city. Former Crack Magazine cover stars Aphex Twin and Little Simz are among the slew of new additions unveiled today (15 February) alongside Black Coffee, Bad Gyal, Eric Prydz and more. Aphex Twin will returns to Sónar for the first time in 12 years to perform a new audiovisual show.

The final wave of artists will join previously announced acts including Bicep, Oneohtrix Point Never, Anz, Fever Ray, Laurent Garnier and more at the celebratory event. The Barcelona festival will follow on from two other editions staged in Lisbon and Istanbul this spring.

The new additions to the festival’s musical programme were announced today alongside the first names confirmed for Sónar+D – the event’s dedicated programme for creative technology experiences – talks, masterclasses and more. With a focus on topics such as AI, the climate emergency and creative processes and practices, the likes of Elijah, Kode9, and Moor Mother were announced as speakers.

You can find out more information about the line-up and purchase tickets via the festival’s website. Check out our photo gallery from last year’s festival here. Listen to our recent conversation with Elijah below.
