The festival has announced the next wave of artists for its 2023 edition.

MELT has shared a new wave of artists set to join its 2023 edition, taking place from 8 –11 June 2023.

Joining previously announced Nia Archives, Joy Orbison, Daphni and others are Ojerime, Tygapaw, Folamour, LSDXOXO, Róisín Murphy, Agar Agar, and more. In December, MELT announced that FKA twigs and Bicep will headline the upcoming festival, playing the Gremmin Beach Stage – MELT’s largest stage.

Speaking about the initial lineup, booking agent and festival Director Florian Czok said: “With our first line-up announcement, we want to show the complete range and diversity of MELT. Whether it’s the electronic live act, German newcomers of different genres, techno and house legends, Gen Z icons or even international rising stars: They all have their rightful place in the MELT cosmos. We are very pleased that we can give a first taste of the more than 150 acts of MELT 2023 today.”

In our review of Melt 2022, we said: “Despite a daily timetable brimming with quality acts on offer, there’s still a magic to be found in stumbling across unexpected moments of brilliance, sending any plans out of the window. For example, the Saturday night sees the Roller Disco stage – which, until this point, had been relatively low-key – descend into an alluring sense of chaos.”

Tickets start at €169.95, with both camping and glamping options available. You can find the full lineup and tickets for Melt 2023 here – and read our full review of 2022’s festival here. MELT has also curated a playlist spotlighting artists set to play at MELT 2023 that can be heard here.
