This April the Camden venue celebrates its first anniversary since relaunching.
KOKO has announced details of its 1st birthday celebrations following its reopening last spring. To mark the milestone, the venue will be throwing a full weekend of events on 28, 29 and 30 April.
The Friday will see a KOKO Electric line-up with former Crack Magazine Collections Vol.1 cover star Batu, Josey Rebelle and Rhythm Section with Bradley Zero. There will also be a House of KOKO party – open to members – spread across five floors with DJ sets from Crazy P and Foals plus a live show from Stavrov. That same night will also see a Café KOKO session featuring Guiltybeatz and DJ Simz.
Following on the Saturday, KOKO will host Amsterdam’s ANOTR who will bring their No Art event. Skepta will close out proceedings on the Sunday, throwing a launch party for his new house label Más Tiempo. He’ll be joined by Jammer, Benji B and Maximum with more to be announced.
