The collaborative project has shared an open call for young creatives working in music and visual arts.

25AV – which is the pan-European platform helmed by Kiosk Radio, Radio Raheem and Radio 80000 – has announced a new young talent competition. Aimed at creatives aged between 18 and 24 years, applicants are called to submit a previously unpublished audiovisual work of up to five minutes in length.

As with 25AV’s previous open call, musicians and visual artists based in different parts of Europe are asked to team up for the submissions. The winning pair – who will be selected by an independent committee – will have the opportunity to join the 25AV artistic residency hosted by Brussel arts space iMAL in October 2023. The successful artists will also get to showcase their work at 25AV events.

Applications for 25AV’s young talent competition are open now until 31 May. Head here to apply.

Last September, 25AV launched as a new platform aimed at fostering collaboration between music producers and visual artists across Europe. The initial call saw 18 artistic pairs selected. The platform’s latest open call focuses on supporting younger talent through the project. Head to the 25AV website for further information.
