Ableton announces Loop Session with machìna

The free-to-attend session will stream live on 22 July.

Korean artist machìna is taking part in Ableton’s Loop Session online event series. The Tokyo-based composer and performer will chat about her journey from aspiring jazz musician to electronic producer via K-pop artist – as well as her music practice and approach to performance – in an hour-long conversation with moderator Craig Schuftan streaming on 22 July.

Those streaming the session can also send in questions for machìna to answer during the session. Following the talk, event attendees will also be able to join the Loop Cafe – where they can to discuss the session as well as their own music and studio practice.

Ableton’s Loop Session series launched in May 2022 with a session with former SHAPE Platform artist Grand River. The series has also featured behind-the-scenes events with the likes of Wayne Snow.

Head here to sign up for a reminder for machìna’s Loop Session event – which is free to attend and starts at 6pm (CET) on 22 July.
