The city-wide festival returns this November.

EFG London Jazz Festival has announced the third wave of acts locked for its next event, taking place across the capital from 10-19 November 2023. The festival’s opening night will see a special performance from Ethiopian musician and arranger Mulatu Astatke, who’ll play the Barbican Centre on 10 November.

Elsewhere, other new additions include London Brew, Aynur, Midori Jaeger, Ife Ogunjobi, Nok Cultural Ensemble and Rarelyalways – who’ll play as part of the festival’s Homegrown stand, which focuses on artists established and fast-rising based in the UK. The Homegrown shows will be based out of a new Soho venue, Lower Third. BINA, Alex Hitchcock and Ant Law have also been confirmed.

Venetian ambient musician Gigi Masin will play the UK live premiere of his new collaborative album Dolphins – a link up with Greg Float – at Kings Place for the festival on 10 November. The likes of Irreversible Entanglements, cktrl, Sam Gendel, China Moses and Samara Joy had been unveiled for the extended, multi-venue event in previous artist announcements.
