Charli XCX responds to her face featuring in the live visuals for Aphex Twin’s set at Field Day

Aphex Twin headlined the London day festival on Saturday (19 August).

During the producer and DJ’s set at Field Day, part of the show featured live visuals using images of Charli XCX, the late SOPHIE, Dua Lipa, Stormzy and more with Aphex Twin’s face superimposed on their faces. In response to photos of her appearing during the set, the former Collections Vol. 3 cover star tweeted “I’ve officially made it”.

Aphex Twin’s set marked his first London show since 2019 and his second headline slot at Field Day, having last played there in 2017. Watch a clip of the visuals, by long-time Aphex Twin collaborator Weirdcore, from his show below.
