Peaches, LSDXOXO and salute confirmed for Homobloc 2023

The queer bloc party returns to Depot Mayfield this autumn.

Homobloc has announced details of its forthcoming edition – taking place on 4 November. Locked in to headline the event this year there’s Jessie Ware, Confidence Man and Peaches. On the DJ tip, the likes of The Blessed Madonna, Avalon Emerson, LSDXOXO, salute and SHERELLE b2b I.JORDAN have all been announced to play headline slots. Plus the xx’s Romy and David Morales have also been confirmed.

Elsewhere, Tygapaw, Juliana Huxtable, Suze Ijó, DJ Paulette and Cakes Da Killa join the line-up. In addition to the day festival’s three main stages and those at Temperance Street and the Star & Garter Pub, this year will feature a new space on the roof of Depot Mayfield. The latter will see Horse Meat Disco host an intimate takeover with a programme spanning cinema screenings, talks, acoustic performances and more.

With programming input from different LGBTQ+ collectives in Manchester and beyond, this year includes curation and work from long-time Homobloc collaborators Ghetto Fabulous, Creatures by Beau Azra, Miss Chief by Banksie and Strutty Bitch alongside new collectives such as The Cavalcade and Drag Kings of Manc.

Homobloc 2023 runs from 2pm until 4am on 4 November. Pre-sale tickets will be live from 10am on 3 August and general sale from the following day. Head to the Homobloc website for further information.
