Berlin Atonal expands line-up for 2023

The festival’s 2023 line-up is shaping up to be its most ambitious to date.

Berlin Atonal, which returns this September for its first full edition in over four years, has announced the bulk of its 2023 programme. 60 new musical acts and a slew of visual artists have joined the bill, including Actress, Loraine James, aya, Blawan, DJ Marcelle and DJ Plead. OK Williams, The Bug and Flowdan, upsammy, LCY and ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U have also been confirmed for the six-night concert programme.

The festival returns to Kraftwerk Berlin from 7-17 September, with the likes of Blackhaine; Space Afrika and Caterina Barbieri; Pavel Miyaov and Perila; and Shackleton, Wacław Zimpel and Siddhartha Belmannu among those previously announced.

The organisers behind the event have also announced that this year’s chapter will feature an exhibition to take place in the weekdays between the two weekend programmes. The exhibition, Universal Metabolism, will take place at Kraftwerk and feature audio-visual works, in-situ sculptures and video art among other performance pieces.
