Berlin Atonal 2023 announces first round of names

The festival, which will return in full for its first time in over four years this September, has unveiled the first wave of artists set to play.

Set in an ex-industrial power station, Berlin Atonal returns for 11 days of audio and visual performances including a number of exclusive works, premieres and world debuts, with the first weekend alone including the debut of Laurel Halo’s new live setand a world premiere of a new collaboration between Caterina Barbieri and Space Afrika.

Also set to perform on the first weekend are Aho Ssan and Sevi Iko Dømochevsky with a new audio-visual show, techno group Sandwell District who will debut their live performance, and Austrian performance artist Florentina Holzinger.

The second weekend will see Alessandro Cortini debuting his new audio-visual show as well as a world premiere of former Crack cover star Blackhaine‘s new site-specific show.
