Chrisman drops new single Late Siren, announces album for Hakuna Kulala

Dozage is out next month and features collaborations with Tracy the Rapper, MC Yallah, Aunty Rayzor and more.

Kampala-based Congolese producer Chrisman is back on Hakuna Kulala for a lengthy new album. Dozage lands on 31 October and features link-ups with plenty of Hakuna Kulala and Nyege Nyege affiliates such as MC Yallah and Aunty Rayzor as well as Ecko Bazz, Blaq Bandana and Tracey the Rapper. It’s been described as “35 tracks of mutant club music” that bring together sounds and influences spanning “trap, Afro-Portugese tarraxo, hardstyle, amapiano, drill, rave, gqom and Afro house”.

Dozage follows prior Chrisman releases on Hakuna Kulala – the club-led sister label to Nyege Nyege – Ku Mwezi and Makila, released in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
