Visual artist and Obby & Jappari co-founder Vakho Jappari designed the print for the new capsule collection, launching this month.
Italian label A Better Mistake and Telekom Electronic Beats have collaborated on a new capsule clothing collection, Altered Egos. Featuring a trio of t-shirts, a shirt, and silk foulard, the limited edition collaborative project is inspired by online social identities, and the ways in which individuals lean into different aspects of their personality via the use of virtual personas. Berlin-based visual artist Vakho Jappari designed the avatar-like print that runs through the collection’s pieces. The collection is slated to launch later this month, with more details still set to be announced.
Discussing the motivation’s behind the project in a statement, A Better Mistake’s Simone Ferraro said: “We strongly believe in the power of self-discovery and self-awareness as a powerful tool for freedom of expression.”
Profits from the sale of the limited edition items will be donated to the Department of Psychiatry and Neurosciences at the Campus Charité Mitte in Berlin. Check out the Altered Egos collection via A Better Mistake.
