The Manchester venue and promoter has shared its programme of events for the coming months.
Band on the Wall’s autumn and winter line-up kicks off on 16 November with Onipa. The Afro-Futurist collective will be touring their latest album Off The Grid, which came out via Peter Gabriel’s Real World Records imprint on 6 October.
Following this, a handful of days later, contemporary UK jazz musician Alfa Mist is set to present his recent new work Variables! at the Royal Northern College of Music. The next event from Band on the Wall will see Zambian Zamrock luminaries WITCH head to the promoter’s eponymous venue at the beginning of December.
Heading into the new year, the Manchester event series has also announced a show from Fatoumata Diawara who plays New Century Hall on the 2 February. More information and tickets are avaliable via the website.
