The former Crack Magazine cover star shared news of the leak via Instagram.

In a series of Instagram Stories shared earlier today (15 October), the CAPRISONGS artist told fans she had been hacked, and that 85 of her demos had been leaked. “Well done” she said, “no new music for a while now. Bye. <3”. Her initial story was followed up by another post that reiterated the consequences of the leak, with the words “no new music. <3”. A third post from the artist included a screenshot of a text conversation with Sega Bodega, discussing the response to this tweet. “Back to the drawing board” wrote twigs, who also shared a picture of herself and a dog with the warning “I will find you”. Check out her first story below.

FKA twigs’ last full-length release, CAPRISONGS, landed in January 2022. At the time, we described it as “an indelible chapter in the story of one of contemporary pop’s most intriguing minds”. Earlier this month, the artist shared new music on her own terms, performing at the Valentino L’Éclole show in Paris alongside a troupe of dancers for a show entitled Unearth Her. The performance featured unreleased music from twigs and her former collaborator and Young labelmate Koreless – supposedly from her forthcoming album, revealed the brand at the time.
