Watch Last Decade, a short film about coming-of-age in the climate crisis

The new film is led and voiced by 18-24 year olds, discussing growing up in the context of climate crisis, political failure and attacks on democratic freedom.

Last Decade is a new short film that looks at the government’s inaction in the face of continued climate emergency, addressing policy failures across energy, transport and food industries. The five voices involved also discuss the voter ID law passed by the government and the Public Order Bill which restricts the right to protest.

Additionally, the narrators involved share their experiences as activists – including members of Just Stop Oil, who have all already served prison sentences for peaceful protest. The film concludes by urging young people to ensure they are registered to vote and have valid voter ID ahead of the next general election, which is set to take place anytime before January 2025.
