Birmingham’s Que Club to be celebrated in new London exhibition

In The Que is billed as a “sensory celebration and exploration” of the iconic music venue, and opens on 1 December.

London’s Crypt Gallery will soon play host to a new exhibition shining a light on Birmingham’s Que Club. Looking back at 25 years of dancing in the since-shuttered live and dance music venue, In The Que will feature photographs, film footage, posters and other promotional material from Que Club, alongside personal artefacts.

Que Club, which closed in 2017, hosted the likes of Massive Attack, David Bowie, Daft Punk and more, alongside events such as Atomic Jam and House of God – the legendary, long-running techno night. The exhibition will run from 1-4 December and is presented in collaboration with clothing brand AFFXWRKS.

Find out more about the exhibition via the Crypt Gallery website and check out a documentary about the venue below.
