Shygirl to play Bristol’s Marble Factory next month

The Nymph artist is heading to Bristol for a headline show.

Shygirl will play the Marble Factory on 5 December as part of a run of UK and European tour dates marking the second portion of her Nymph world tour, with stops in cities such as Glasgow, Brighton, Rotterdam and Bern also lined up.

Last week, Shygirl released a new club-ready track entitled thicc featuring prior collaborator and recent Sunday Mix artist Cosha. It marked her first release since dropping the deluxe edition of her debut album Nymph. The release, titled Nymph_o, featured contributions from Björk, Tinashe, Eartheater, Erika de Casier, Arca, Sevdaliza and more. Nymph featured in our Albums of the Year list last year. At the time, we described the record as revealing “the vulnerable soul underneath [Shygirl’s] bravado”.

Shygirl’s Marble Factory date is presented by Simple Things. To celebrate her return to the city, the Bristol festival and promoter has announced a ticket giveaway for fans. Find out more about that here or check out the announcement post below.
