The Berlin-based Czech musician and visual artist released her debut solo album last month via Unguarded.
To accompany the release of In Death’s Eyes Hermanova has unveiled a music video for the album’s opening track, Black Glass. Directed by visual artist Enes Güç, who also worked on the evocative album artwork, the video delves into the theme of loss, utilising symbolic elements of fire and water.
Petra Hermanova is among the European artists selected for this year’s edition of SHAPE+, the platform for innovative music, performance and audiovisual supported by the Creative Europe programme. SHAPE+ is helmed by European festivals and arts organisations in countries across the continent, including Unsound, Mutant Radio, CTM Festival, Terraforma and Construction Festival.
