Applications are open until 5pm (GMT) on 19 January.

UK music charity Youth Music has launched the eighth round of its NextGen Fund programme, which is designed to support aspiring young creatives. The initiative offers grants of up to £2,500 to help early-stage musicians and those involved in music to realise their projects and ideas, with a particular focus on supporting music creatives who are held back by financial barriers.

Applications are currently open for emerging artists and professionals within the music industry aged 18-25, and up to 30 years old for those who identify as disabled. For further information and to access the application form, head here.

Youth Music launched the NextGen Fund in 2021, led by Butterz co-founder Elijah. Since its inception the initiative has invested over £485,000 directly to emerging creatives, grassroots projects and platforms – with previous recipients of the fund including No Signal Radio, Saffron Records, Noods Radio and Marla Kether.
