Eliza Rose, GIDEÖN and Jamz Supernova to join House Against Hate demo

The mobile protest will take place in London on 16 March as part of the United Nations Anti Racism Day Demonstration.

R3 Soundsystem will be taking its House Against Hate demo through central London, joined by a host of DJs and musicians united against racism. The mobile protest is being organised in collaboration with Black Artist Database, Stand Up To Racism, Love Music Hate Racism and Homo-Centric Records.

As part of the protest, which will run from 3-7pm, they have invited artists to join the demo to protest against the racist, xenophobic, transphobic, anti-immigrant, pro-Israel contingent in the UK establishment. DJs and musicians confirmed so far include The Blessed Madonna, Eliza Rose, GIDEÖN, Shanti Celeste, DJ Paulette, Leon Vynehall, Jamz Supernova and NIKS.

Speaking on the forthcoming House Against Hate demo, activist and artist GIDEÖN – who is also behind Block9 – says, “As the Tories ratchet up their anti-immigration rhetoric, as Trump plots his second attempt at dismantling US democracy and as Labour fail to call out Israel’s genocide, we must unite once again around our community soundsystem to protest the global consolidation of right-wing power. Bring banners, loud hailers and friends plus everything you need to kick-start the revolution.”

R3 Soundsystem is made up of various individuals, groups and cultural organisations united by a love of music and rejection of right-wing nationalism. At the House Against Hate demo in March they will also be collecting donations for Medical Aid for Palestine. Head here for more details.
