The Portuguese festival, taking place this weekend, has released set times and new updates.
Sónar Lisboa have announced the set times for the three day event, that will see the likes of Oneohtrix Point Never, Grove, CC: DISCO!, DJ Gigola, Jennifer Loveless, Helena Hauff Eliza Rose, TOMMY CASH, Laura BCR and Nia Archives grace the Portuguese stages.
The festival has also announced a specially commissioned installation will be available to see on all three days of the festival from 9am-10pm. The immersive installation by multidisciplinary art collective Zabra is titled LIMBIC LANDMARKS and goes beyond physical geography to explore the emotional landmarks that shape our understanding of the world.
The festival will kick off in the evening of Friday 22 with Chima Issaro set to play the opening 20.30 slot. Saturday’s Sónar by day will kick off at 13.30 running until 22.00 when Sónar by night takes over at 23.00 with music scheduled until 6.00, with Sunday mirroring Saturday’s schedule.
