New initiative sees “NATURE” listed officially as an artist on Spotify

For Sounds Right, the likes of Mø, Cosmo Sheldrake, AURORA and David Bowie x Brian Eno are co-crediting Nature on new tracks, with streaming royalties going towards climate action initiatives.

“NATURE” has now been officially listed as a musician on streaming platforms in a new campaign.

Launched by UN Live last week (April 18), Sounds Right will see NATURE’s streaming royalties collected by Brian Eno’s Earth/Percent charity, which will be used to support climate action initiatives across the globe.

Artists from around the world including Cosmo Sheldrake, Mø, AURORA, David Bowie x Brian Eno, Ellie Goulding, Anuv Jain, Bomba Estéreo, and UMI with V of BTS have released new tracks co-crediting NATURE as part of the campaign, with the aim of encouraging “millions of music fans around the globe to recognise the value of nature and to inspire them to take action”.

Melissa Fleming, United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications, said: “Sounds Right is a groundbreaking music movement. It unites people around the world in a shared commitment, recognising the intrinsic value of nature. Together we must act now to protect our planet for our common future.”

Norwegian singer AURORA, who has released A Soul With No King – Remix (feat. NATURE) as part of the initiative, said: “The world is calling for us. And it has been for a really long time. We can feel deep inside of our very core, that something is wrong. Working with my friend FREDRIK on A Soul With No King has mended something in me. I understand where my anger comes from. And what to do with it. And having Brian Eno do a remix of our baby has been a dream. For the Earth. From the Earth.”

To coincide with Earth Day today, Crack Magazine is launching a fundraiser for Earth/Percent and reissuing three of our most in-demand nature prints. Find out more here and purchase the limited edition prints here.

All of the tracks can streamed via the “Feat. NATURE” Spotify playlist.
