Taking place in Utrecht from November 7 until November 10, the first wave of the line-up features the likes of Kim Gordon, Theo Parrish, Lafawndah and more.
Utrecht festival Le Guess Who? has revealed Arooj Aftab, Crystallmess, Mabe Fratti, DARKSIDE (Nicolás Jaar and Dave Harrington), Bo Ningen and Touching Bass will be guest curators for this year’s festival.
Each of the curators will perform at the Dutch weekender, which will take place November 7-10, across 20 venues in the city centre.
Alongside the announcement, the first wave of the line-up has been unveiled, including the likes of Kim Gordon, Theo Parrish, Aba Shanti-I, Blackhaine, RP Boo, Still House Plants, Lord Spikeheart, Bedouin Burger, Lafawndah and Nooriyah. The acts playing have either been handpicked by a guest curator, or feature as part of the general programme.
Across the weekend, many of the city’s music venues, theatres, churches, warehouses and galleries are turned into festival stages. Most are within walking distance of each other.
Now in its 17th edition, the programming of Le Guess Who? focuses on sounds that are “often overlooked, and to platform fresh perspectives on what is possible in music”, according to the festival.
