Music software company Ableton has released the first three episodes of its new podcast series.
Today (13 June), Ableton has released the first three episodes of its new podcast geared toward music makers and appreciators, Doing Music.
Hosted by author, broadcaster and radio producer Craig Schuftan, artist guests deconstruct the elements that go into making a record and share the creative practices and techniques that help form their work. The first three guests for the show are indie-pop artist Cavetown, powerhouse producer, DJ and vocalist Sofia Kourtesis, and Equiknoxx kingpin Gavsborg.
Schuftan expertly guides each conversation, making space for the artists to be candid about their strategies when making music and demystifying the art of production and songwriting for the audience.
Challenging the notion that creativity is something some people have and others don’t, listeners locked into Doing Music will hear insights from the musicians and can use this knowledge to help their own creative process, regardless of ability.
Check out the Gavsborg show below and the first three episodes here, with subsequent episodes to be released every two weeks on all podcast platforms.
