Caribou announces new album and four-night London residency

Caribou

The new record, titled Honey, is out on 4 October.

Four years after his last project, Canadian synth master Dan Snaith is back with a new album under his Caribou moniker. Honey drops on 4 October via City Slang, and will feature previously shared singles Broke My Heart, Honey and Volume (Snaith’s rework of 80s hit Pump Up The Volume by M|A|R|R|S).

Today (28 August), he also gifts us tour dates, a new single and an accompanying music video, Come Find Me. Directed by long-time collaborator Richard Kenworthy of Shynola, the short film is set in various places in London, with a mysterious dancer sporting a cardboard cut-out mask of Snaith’s head busting moves everywhere from the Overground to the drinks aisle of a local off-licence.

Snaith has also revealed a live residency across four evenings in September at The Waiting Room in London, offering a rare chance to hear the new music at his most intimate UK shows ever.

Tickets for the performances, held on 8, 9, 10 and 11 September, will be available for free via a lottery starting tomorrow (29 August) at 10am on Caribou’s Instagram.

The artist then returns to the UK in February 2025 with dates at Bristol Beacon, Leeds’ O2 Academy and three already sold-out concerts at the historic Roundhouse.
