Maho Rasop

The newly announced artists will join headliners Air in Thailand on 23-24 November

Following the announcement of Air as the first headliner, Maho Rasop has now revealed the first slew of artists joining them in Bangkok for the festival’s 2024 edition.

Amongst the diverse offering, rising Birmingham punk duo Big Special will take their recent debut album Postindustrial Hometown Blues to the festival’s ESC Park, LA post-punk band Automatic will bring their raucous energy, and legendary Japanese artist Shintaro Sakamoto (formerly frontman for the psychedelic rock band Yura Yura Teikoku) will make a rare appearance.

Kingpins of the 2010s indie scene Real Estate will also perform, along with locals The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band, Stones Throw Records’ John Carroll Kirby, South Korean indie rock four-piece Silica Gel, and indie pop bands Grrrl Gang and Subsonic Eye.

On the selector front, Job Veerman, also known as Identified Patient, will take over the decks with a deep vault of tracks ranging from dub to techno. Osaka’s ryota will return to Bangkok after an electrifying club show at BEAMCUBE in June, with plenty more acts due to be named.

Air will perform their 1998 debut album, Moon Safari, in its entirety as part of their 25th anniversary tour of the project.
