AIR have been announced as the first headliner for the 2024 instalment of Bangkok festival Maho Rasop, taking place between 23-24 November. The French duo will be making their Thailand debut at the Festival, coinciding with the 25th anniversary tour of their seminal downtempo album Moon Safari, which was released in 1998.
Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel, the Versaillais heads behind the retrofuturist outfit, have spent the current year performing their full 10-track magnum opus at venues and festivals worldwide, including a standout audiovisual exhibition at Barcelona’s Sonar Festival.
Gearing up for its fifth edition, Maho Rasop will be taking place once again at the ESC Park in Rangsit. The eclectic three-stage event has showcased the Thailand debut performances of numerous artists since its 2018 inauguration; the previous edition in 2023 saw the likes of Alex G, Yard Act, Alvvays, Squid and Homeshake, with Interpol and Crack Magazine cover stars Idles serving as headliners.
Further line-up announcements will be released continuously over the coming weeks.
