Returning with the theme ‘Living with the Gods’, this year’s edition of C2C will take place from 31 October-3 November in Turin.
Later this month during Turin Contemporary Art Week, Italy’s largest indoor music festival will return to multiple venues across the city, including former Fiat factory Lingotto Fiere, post-industrial space OGR Torino and art gallery Pinacoteca Agnelli.
Having grown organically from Turin’s adventurous cultural scene since 2002, C2C‘s 2024 programme feels true to its enduring ethos, drawing the biggest names from the underground music and art worlds to the city. From avant-pop to jazz and electronic, artists across a variety of genres will come together under the theme ‘Living with the Gods’ – which takes inspiration from an essay of the same name by art historian Neil MacGregor.
Returning artists include Arca, Ben UFO and Nicolas Jaar, who’ll perform with his band DARKSIDE, while Mabe Fratti, John Glacier and more will make their C2C debut.
Further highlights include Dean Blunt, Yaeji and Mica Levi on Thursday, followed by Nala Sinephro and Sega Bodega on Friday, and A. G. Cook and Mandy, Indiana on Saturday.
On Sunday, Isabella Lovestory, evilgiane and John Talabot will play the adidas Originals X C2C Festival Finissage — OGR Torino stage, as part of a larger collaboration this year with the brand. adidas Originals will also link up with visual designer and Aphex Twin collaborator Weirdcore, who will create a 90s rave culture-influenced installation at Lingotto Fiere that will remain open to visit throughout the event.
Elsewhere on the programme, C2C will host other experiences outside of music, including talks, workshops and a presentation on Situazione Xplosiva APS publication We Call It Avant-Pop.
