Dolby has revealed that it is set to host an immersive audio space, Dolby Atmos House, at the 2024 edition of Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).
Taking place at the TOBACCO Theater on Thursday, 17 October and Friday, 18 October, the “multi-space auditory sanctuary” will hold intimate listening sessions with artists including New Order, LP Giobbi, DJ Bone, CARISTA, Armin van Buuren and more, showcasing their music created in Dolby Atmos immersive audio in the Listening Theatre. It will also host a unique concert in Dolby Atmos Live by Dutch performance artist and musician LudoWic powered by STMPD Studios.
Dolby Atmos House will be open to all ADE festival goers and will also feature a Mixing Studio – where workshops and sessions will provide attendees the chance to take a behind the scenes look at multidimensional mixing, a Living Room space that provides a preview of Dolby Atmos in an immersive home theatre setting, and a Hangout area with Device bar for a Dolby Atmos headphone experience.
Dolby Atmos House is free and open to everyone. For more information and to take a look at the full schedule, visit ADE’s official website.
