Set to take place in June next year, LIDO Festival’s first line-up announcement features Arca, Shy One, John Glacier and more.
The latest fresh addition to London’s summer calendar, LIDO Festival, will focus on artist collaboration, community-driven activities and sustainability. Taking its name from its famous Lido Field, the festival’s first edition will take place at Victoria Park in June 2025 over two weekends.
Arriving with a stacked line-up, the first announced day will see Jamie xx as its headliner on 7 June. Following a 10-day residency at MOT this summer, the East London local artist will bring a special showcase edition of his club residency ‘The Floor’ to the park, featuring a three-hour set from DJ Harvey and more.
“It’s always an exciting prospect playing in my home town,” Jamie xx says. “Having done The Floor and Alexandra Palace this year, it’s time for something else! I’m really looking forward to headlining Victoria Park, curating my own day festival and performing alongside my favourite artists.”
Choosing to work closely with their headliners to curate the rest of the line-up, LIDO Festival also welcomes names including Romy, Arca, Sampha, Panda Bear, John Glacier, Shy One, livwutang, DJ Gigola, Wookie and more.
