The festival will return to Brussels from Friday 4 – Sunday 6 April this year.
BRDCST has announced its programme for 2025, which includes 45 artists from across the musical spectrum and shines a spotlight on DJ Rashad, John Coltrane and International Anthem.
Each night will be curated by one of three guest curators: Swedish musician Anna von Hausswolff, Zambian-Canadian rapper Backxwash, and Saxophonist Colin Stetson – a familiar face at the festival now undertaking his first stint as a curator.
The events of the weekend will take place at AB, beursschouwburg, the Church of Notre Dame aux Riches Claires, and Palace.
At Church of Notre Dame aux Riches Claires – a venue BRDCST is taking over for the second year in a row – the line-up includes composer and pianist Ava Rast and Irish experimentalist Áine O’Dwyer on night one, Belgian multi-instrumentalist Abel Ghekiere on night two, and Guitarist Raphael Rogiński on night three.
BRDCST BY NGHT will also return this year, with beursschouwburg organising two nights of parties on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 April. The programme will include De Schuurman and New York-based trio Kassie Krut.
A collaboration between BRDCST and Palace will also return this year to present two film concerts.
