Kuboraum will present another chapter of their We Travel to Know Our Own Geography during the Venice Art Biennale this weekend.
Kuboraum unveils a four-day program under the umbrella of their We Travel to Know Our Own Geography series from 6–9 May in Venice alongside the opening of the 61st Venice Art Biennale.
Taking place at the Pier Fortunato Calvi State Secondary School in Castello 1808, the line-up spans performance art, music, multidisciplinary works and special collaborations.
Marking the upcoming joint release of Ocean Cage by KADAPAT & Nova Ruth featuring Siko Setyanto – issued via Kuboraum Editions and SVBKVLT – ASIANDOPEBOYS director Tianzhuo Chen will team up with Siko Setyanto to premiere a stage-based interpretation of the record, Moyang 先祖 & Seaman 漁師, presented over two days.
Other collaborations include Joshua Serafin performing Relics: An Eye Once Blind with Görkem Şen and Pierre Bayet, Kianí del Valle teaming up with Ziúr to present De Brujas y Fantasma, FRANKIE and Kelman Duran presenting McArthur, and Ziúr & Sandi’s performance of Home with Martina Bertoni and Sara Persico.
Additional shows come from Emiliano Maggi, Romain Azzaro, and Cosimo Damiano.
Previously, Kuboraum has presented We Travel to Know Our Own Geography alongside other events such as Terraforma Festival, Dover Street Market Paris, and Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin.
