Phoebe Bridgers announces new album, Lost Weekend

Lost Weekend will be Bridgers’ first solo album in six years.

Phoebe Bridgers has announced her third studio album, the long-awaited follow-up to Punisher, which arrives on 14 August via Dead Oceans.

The record ends a six-year gap between solo releases after several years spent focusing on collaborative projects, most notably alongside Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker in Boygenius.

The announcement comes after weeks of fan speculation and a run of surprise pop-up shows across the US, which culminated earlier this month with a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden.

After the album’s release, Bridgers will embark on an ambitious, phone-free tour, The Lost Tour, which kicks off on 14 September in Indianapolis, with Alex G joining as the primary support act across North American dates.

After completing the North American run, Bridgers will play across the UK, Ireland and Europe in November. European dates will feature support from Isaac Wood, the former Black Country, New Road vocalist.

Lost Weekend‘s first single is out tomorrow.
