The joint release features original artwork from a new short animation created alongside the London-based motion studio.
Crack Magazine’s new four-piece collection is based around a 20-second experimental short animation created by Daisy Chain Studios.
Founded by directors CC Studio’s Connor Campbell and Butt Studio’s Harry Butt, Daisy Chain Studios has become renowned for its off-kilter, vibrant visual work across music videos for the likes of Jamie xx and Dua Lipa, as well as visual identity projects for Dekmantel Festival. The studio’s practice blends 2D, 3D and generative animation with a focus on strange, characterful world-building.
Translating the surreal, slightly grotesque visual language of the short animation into physical form, our four-piece apparel collection contrasts absurd character graphics with high-spec, heavy-gauge streetwear foundations. The drop features two graphic short-sleeve tees, a long-sleeve tee and an embroidered cap.
