The 23-year-old artist, of drill group Moscow 17, was stabbed in south London
The rapper, real name Sidique Kamara, was fatally stabbed in an altercation in Camberwell last night (1 August). Two others involved in the attack have been hospitalised for potential life-changing injuries, and two men have been arrested near the scene. They’re currently held in custody on suspicion of murder.
Moscow 17’s Twitter account confirmed Incognito’s passing this morning:

The confrontation happened on Warham Street, the same road where fellow Moscow 17 member Rhyhiem Ainsworth Barton was shot dead in May.
Following Barton’s death, his mother Pretena Morgan called for a stop in the wave of violence in London. “Let my son be the last and be an example to everyone. Just let it stop. What must be, must be,” she said. “It’s not about race, it’s not about nation, it’s not about culture. Nothing. It’s just a human race.”
Recently, the musical genre has been controversially linked to London’s rising levels of knife crime, with the Metropolitan Police accusing artists of glamourising violence and gang warfare through their lyrics. In May, YouTube took down over 30 music videos following a request from the Metropolitan Police and later, in June, a court order was issued, banning drill group 1011 from making music without police permission.
