JASSS, Ikonika, Oliver Coates and more join Intonal 2019

The five-day experimental art and music festival comes to Malmö, Sweden, on 24-28 April.

Intonal has added to its line-up for its 2019 edition, announcing rising producer JASSS, Hyperdub’s Ikonika and dub and roots reggae artist Jah Shaka. Other additions include composer Astrid Sonne, cellist Oliver Coates and Circle of Live’s Sebastian Mullaert, who will perform alongside Swedish DJ Johanna Knutsson.

These and more will join the billing alongside dancefloor-focused acts like Detroit electro pioneers Aux 88, Nyege Nyege affiliates MCZO & Duke, reggaeton and Caribbean futurism act Clara! y Maoupa, Dutch eclecticist DJ Marcelle, contemporary ensemble Apartment House, Pan Sonic’s Ilpo Väisänen, Burnt Friedman and Mohammad Reza Mortazavi’s collaborative project Yek, EBM trio Vanligt Folk, Moscow minimalist Kate NV and director Sasha Kulak.

Founded in 2015, Intonal is an annual festival showcasing the best in experimental sounds. Festival passes are currently valued at 695 SEK and day tickets will become available on 15 March, alongside the full line-up announcement.
