Rick Astley to play free concert for NHS workers

Rick Astley has announced a free concert for NHS workers, primary caregivers and emergency services staf to thank them for their work during the coronavirus pandemic. Set to take place on 28 October at Manchester’s MEN Arena, frontline NHS staff, firefighters, police officers, ambulance staff and primary care workers will be eligible to apply for tickets.

“Our NHS and emergency services are amazing,” Astley said. “This concert is a thank you to all those fantastic frontline staff. I promise my band and I will give it everything to give you a great night out.” Tickets will be limited to two per person and are available via Ticketmaster from Thursday 2 April.
