MCQ, an offshoot of fashion brand Alexander McQueen, has announced its latest roster of collaborators.

Working with six-month periods instead of seasons, MCQ launches a minimum of three collections – known as icons – per cycle. Today (2 October), the high-fashion streetwear brand has announced the concepts behind its latest icons, and team of collaborators. South London rapper Flohio has joined the brand, along with NUXXE’s Shygirl, producer Tzusing, duo Async Figure and Chinese underground platform Tag Club.

Beyond music, MCQ has also teamed up with photographer Ewen Spencer, award-winning director Duncan Loudon, stylist Harry Lambert, visual artist Yuen Hsieh, Pantone Colour Institute and more.

This cycle’s themes are Genesis II – a collection exploring mankind’s imprint on the planet – and Foam, which reimagines construction and classic workwear silhouettes. Arcade, a rave collection comprised of technically advanced fabrics and futuristic graphics, lands this month.

Each garment includes a tag that bears the name of the icon it belongs to. Inside each tag is an NFC chip; MCQ has advised each customer to follow the instructions on each tag, create an account on the brand’s site and add to your own MCQ digital collection. If you’ve got a tag, head here to login.
