EastEast Radio extends programming with new shows from Nabihah Iqbal, MSYLMA and more

The station, which launched back in December, focuses on music from West Asia, North Africa and beyond.

EastEast Radio is a newly-launched online radio station that aims to highlight and showcase artists, music and stories from West Asia, North Africa, Global East, its diasporas and beyond. The 24/7 streaming platform is an extension of EastEast Magazine and MaWaheb Festival, which are projects launched by the Creative Cultural Agency.

Back in December, EastEast Radio launched with a string of mixes and podcasts from the likes of Sublime Frequencies, Canary Records, Rabih Beaini of Morphine Records and Bulat Khalilov from Ored Recordings. This month, the station is extending its programming with new shows and mixes from Nabihah Iqbal, Saudi Arabian artist MSYLMA, Hive Mind Records, Radio Al Hara’s co-founder Atlas and more.

The station will also be debuting a new podcast series called Of Ghostland, which features conversations with people from countries and territories that no longer exist as part of EastEast’s (no)borders issue.

Head to the website to tune in. Alternatively, you can listen back to past shows and mixes on EastEast Radio’s SoundCloud.
