This summer FIGURA presents Seeing in Dreams – an interdisciplinary and modular programme that challenges tradition by bringing together diverse art forms.
On 9-10 May, FIGURA brings two-day event Seeing in Dreams to London’s HERE at Outernet.
The programme looks to offer its artists a space for risk, visions, and change. The event will feature a mix of live performances and DJ sets showcased using HERE’s state-of-the-art sound system and visuals.
The multisensory and multidisciplinary event will host a line-up full of forward-thinking electronic artists. Friday will see a showcase from Berlin record label PAN, with performances from experimental sound design duo Amnesia Scanner, cross-disciplinary artist Crystallmess, and a DJ set from experimental pop and cloud rap artist Ecco2k, as well as a live performance from upsammy. Saturday’s programme features atmospheric dub and ambient sounds from Andy Stott, ethereal pop and R&B from Clara La San, and a live performance from TAAHLIAH.
Bristol record label and event series Accidental Meetings is set to take over London venue The Lower Third on Saturday for BOUNTY LAW, an album launch showcase with James Massiah and other special guests.
Seeing in Dreams is the first inquiry into what FIGURA is set out to be. Their partnership with Zora reflects their goal of nurturing ecosystems and offering meaningful alternatives to festivals and the way music is consumed. FIGURA will share exclusive content through Zora as an effort to decentralise how stories are told and experienced.
